Tetelestai is the Greek word meaning: It is finished. For thousands of years this word was put on debts and when this took place it meant - Paid in full. This is what Jesus has done for each one of us. He paid for our sins in full on the cross. Through His blood and sacrifice, Jesus gave us all the privilege to have everlasting life and the blessings that come from God.

So what is the primary mission of PROSKUNEO?

Our purpose and main goal is to share with the world, the whole world and not just a select few, the truth listed above. That it is finished and that their debt has been paid in full and that knowing this Truth can set them free.

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." - John 8:32

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." - John 8:36

We want to share that following Jesus Christ is not about being religious, but that it's about a relationship with Him. We want to share this Truth all across North America and abroad.

The Truth may have different faces around the world, but the name remains the same - it's JESUS.

The message of Jesus is not just for a select group, it's for everyone. Jesus gave His life for every person that will ever step foot on earth. He doesn't care about their past mistakes, all He cares about is right now. Why should we be any different?

In Mark 12:28-33, Jesus told us that of all the commandments, the following two are the most important:

30 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. 31 The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."

At PROSKUNEO we want to live out those two commandments. We want to WORSHIP ONE AND LOVE ALL. We want to show our love for God by emulating the love of Christ and by loving our neighbors as ourselves. We want to take Jesus' message to the people that are looked down upon by society, who feel they're outcasts based on their lives, styles, or even their outside appearance. We want to take it to the people that look great on the outside, but that are dying on the inside. We want to take it to a generation who knows the struggles of drugs, sex, past hurts, abuse, etc...

We want to take this message to the youth culture of North America and abroad. The youth of the world are searching for the truth and they don't want to hear about religion anymore, they want to see the love of Jesus lived and breathed in people's lives.

The greatest single cause of atheism and unbelief in the world today, is Christians ... who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, and walk out the door, denying Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.

We want to help them believe. We want to model the life of Proskuneo to them and we want to share the Truth with them before they make life altering mistakes that can impact their lives forever.
